OMG...I've got such a huge blog to write!!

Friday

We had to get to the school at 5 to start practice, but Kels and I were late, so...yeah. We didn't get in trouble though. Yay for us. The band and guard as a whole started practice at 5:30 and we stopped at, like, 6:45 I think? Oh well. ANYWAYS...mom came back to drop my stuff off, yay for mommies. When we performed, I think I did well. But Cooksey said as a whole that it looked better than earlier's rehearsal because of distractions. We still had a lot to work on before Saturday's competition. Kels and I took pics randomly 'cause I had the camera with me and yay! It was fun. I'll post them if anybody wants me to!
The football team finally won a game. Well, this was only our second game we went to and well, the first time we performed, the team sucked. There's been more games, but we only go on Varsity Fridays. We won 13 - 7 (Floyd Central). It was a funny game! Very enjoyable! :)
Afterwards, I went to Tubby's with Kels and Bre was with us, too. We pre-ordered our food because Kels' mom said that it would be packed by the time we got there because we had to stop by my house to pick my stuff up since I was spending the night! YAY!
I went home and got my stuff for Saturday and grabbed the rest of the swing flags and told mom bye. When we got back to Tubby's, Kels' mom was right. We went straight to the front and got our pizza xD We were the first ones eating. It was funny!!

After eating, we went back to Kels' house and Kels and I messed around for awhile. It was fun. I told her that before we went to bed we had to jump from her dresser onto her bed (which hurt my knee like hell. Kels got to jump onto softness because I moved the blankets over for her. Cheater lady!). THAT was fun, too! We fell asleep around...1 am maybe??? We got back at midnight, I think? I can't remember!!

Saturday

Kels' dad woke us up at 7:25, but we didn't actually get out of bed until 7:45. Practice started at 8 and it took at least 10 minutes to get to Jeff High... After trying to get Kels up, she pushed me outta the bed!! She kept saying that she woke ME up, but alas, it was I who woke HER up. Bwahhaa.

We got to practice at 8:05, but more than half the band was late O.o...It was weird! Almost like a salvation because we didn't get into trouble! YAY!

Practice was until 10:45. We clarified and fixed a lot of things and it was cool. The guard was in really good moods. THANK GOD. Anyways, Cooksey said that rehearsal didn't look too great, but he was hopeful we'd do great at the comp. Alas, he was right!!

We performed at 1:35 and watched Charlestown's exhibition performance. It was...odd...o.O; But cool I guess.

Awards came up and we were in class 3A. Last Saturday I said it was boring that the same team kept winning over and over again (Booneville and some other school). Well, I have to call myself a hypocrit We got 7 awards!!! Let me see if I can remember...

Champion (or was it Reserved Champion? I can't remember!! AAAH!!! lol.)
Cooksey said he wanted to tell us our score, but he didn't...o.O...We got a 69...last year at District that's what we got and you had to have a 70 to go to Regionals...*blink* This was our second competition...are we really doing THAT good??? LOL!!!! The performance was freaking awesome!! I'm gonna ask Cooksey if I can have a copy of the performance because it was SO awesome. Our drill spots and the visuals and EVERYTHING was basically perfect!!! One of the coolest visuals in our show is when the band puts their left hand out to the crowd, palm facing the crowd, and then turns front and does the "dirt off your shoulder" move!!!! IT WAS SO COOL!!!!!!!!!

I got home at 4:30 and fell asleep right after I walked into my room and collapsed onto my bed. I was SORE @.@...OI. I got up at 9:30 with mom asking me if I wanted to go swimming XP Oops!!

I wroted this yesterday in another blog...but i just wanted to let you know! O.o
